水下森林”净化西湖水质
西湖主湖区的水体透明度，比10年前提高了1倍，达到了82.8厘米，这一切，都要归功于西湖生态恢复与水环境改善项目。
西湖湖西水生植物群落优化示范工程，就是在西湖湖西的茅家埠、浴鹄湾、乌龟潭70万平方米的湖区里，种植沉水植物，比如菹草、苦草、狐尾藻、金鱼藻、黑藻等，形成复合群落，自然梯度。现在，一年四季，水下都有植物景观。沉水植物能净化水，湖水便清澈见底。

6月，市民可以在地铁站借书还书了
今年6月——杭州图书馆的“微型图书馆”将现身地铁站，提供24小时自助式借阅服务功能。
这种“24小时微型图书馆”可以放下近500本图书，当读者选中图书时，可以通过电脑屏幕，查阅这本图书的内容摘要、目录等相关信息，然后通过二代身份证或市民卡借阅。
今后在“微型图书馆”上，还可以提供文献资料查询和下载服务，读者可以将自己感兴趣的电子书、期刊报纸等资料，下载到手机或者U盘上，当然，这一切也都是免费的。

我市首季引进外资17.32亿美元，对外投资2.37亿美元
一季度，我市又新增3个世界500强投资项目，其中日本中瑞穗金融与英国沃斯利是首次进入杭州。恒逸集团在文莱总投资40亿美元的特大型石化项目，已获国家发改委批准。中地海外在吉布提的大型水务项目合同也已签订。我市招商引资和“走出去”工作双双实现开门红。
1—3月共引进合同外资17.32亿美元，实际到资14.37亿美元，同比增长分别达到了30.92%和10.44%。1—3月，我市新批对外投资项目27个，总投资2.37亿美元，中方投资额2.36亿美元，同比增长19.8%。

Underwater Forests purity Water Quality of West Lake

Aquatic plant communities’ optimization demonstration project of WestLake is aimed to plant potamogeton crispus, eel grass, watermifoil, hornwort and hydrilla of more than 700 000 square meter at Maojiabu, Yuhuwan and Huguitan. There will be underwater forest at all seasons. They can purity water quality and make the lake clear.

Borrow and return books at subway station
From June on, miniature library will appear at subway stations and provide 24-hours borrow-return function.
These kinds of 24-hours miniature libraries can hold about 500 books. Readers can learn abstracts and catalogues through computer screen and borrow books with their ID card or citizen card.
Citizens may download their interested electronic books, periodicals and newspapers to mobile phones and USB-sticks for free from miniature libraries

Contract of a large-scale water projects in Djibouti has already signed.Attracting investment and investing abroad are both having a good start.
